Why do we link to Amazon?

As being part of the Amazon Associates Program as well as the UK and Canadian Amazon sites it lets us as bloggers and reviewers earn a percentage of a sales if you buy something from Amazon in a short time frame.

How long is that time frame?  24 hours

How big is the commission? Well it varies depending on what item you buy but normally it is a small percentage about 4%-10%

As an example if say you buy a radar detector for 200$ after you check out our reviews on it and find that we provided some great information about it and now you want to go over to Amazon and buy it, we would bake about 8$.  Yet the best part about it is that it does not cost you anything.

We picked Amazon first off because we us them the most for the products we review. Also Amazon has consistently had the best deals on any car related technology like dash cams to radar detector mounts that we can find anywhere.

So if it saves you money by going with the best deal, why not stick with Amazon. We did and love them.
